CERBERUS was born in 1993 when Claudio Astorga (batería), Marco Tapia (voz), Rodrigo Carrillo (bajo) y Álvaro Villagra (guitarra) y José Cáceres (guitarra) started to developing a Melodic Death Metal Style that little by little capture the attention of the Chilean Metal followers at that time.
The Band released in 1994 their first work called "After a Useless Figth" with the one people started to know Cerberus Music.

In 1995 they recorded "Repulsive Life Forms", this EP included Juan Pablo Baquedano that replaced to Alvaro Villagra.

In 1996 Rodrigo Carrillo joined the band and they were playing around Santiago and other near places full time.

In 2000 the song "Ebola" made possible to get inspired enough to come up with ideas for the whole album, The song "Ebola" was a very well received in Radios and the rest of the Chilean Metal Scene.

In 2002 EBOLA was released the track list incluaded songs such as: Inmortal Hate (from their demo "After a Useless Figth") Ebola and Unbaptized showing to the fans their Straight up Death Metal Sound.

In 2007 Cerberus recorded a Promotional Live Material in Oxido's Bar with the whole idea of give something new before the new CD is done.

In 2008 Cerberus shows a new line up with Juan Pablo Baquedano (Guitar/Vocals), Gustavo Ober (Guitar), Miguel Neira (Bass) and their original drummer Claudio Astorga. With this line up they started to come to the scene playing some gigis and composing new material.

The band is now producing their second album, that will be called "Redemption of Demigod" expecting to have it out by the end of this year.
